Details
The traditional Ajrakh printing process involves various stages of dyeing and resist printing using natural dyes, with a focus on colours such as indigo and madder red. A technique which is synonymous with the Kutch region in Gujarat, wooden blocks are carved with intricate patterns and used to hand-print striking motifs on to the cloth.
